What is SmsNative?
SmsNative is a platform that enables you to send,save and schedule thousands of text messages at the click of a button.The SmsNative platform is used by Organizations and Individuals alike to communicate via the Short Messaging Service known simply as SMS.
How Do I Join SmsNative?
To Join the SmsNative platform simply click Register and fill in your details in the fields that follow.You will have the option of Uploading a Profile picture which will always represent your account on the Community App.An email will be sent to your account to verify your registration.After creation of your account,you will receive at least 200 FREE SMS Credits to try with.
How To Send Sms
Sending text messages with SmsNative is quite simple.After logging in to your account, you will land on the Sms Dashboard that will contain Fields which you will input data for your message.From here you can;
- Send Single SMS Message
- Send Multipls SMS Messages
- Schedule SMS e.g. Birthdays and Meetings
- Upload many Contacts automatically from TXT, CSV file
- Send Personalized Messages from a CSV file
- Save SMS Templates for future use
- Buy Sms Credit using several payment options
- Transfer Sms credit to another account etc
How do I pay for Sms Credit?
You can pay for Sms Credit by clicking on the 'Buy Sms' button on the right hand side of your page .There are several methods of paying for your Sms credit.
Just follow the prompts after selecting your Sms Bundle and complete the transaction. Sms Credits will be automatically credited to your account once the transaction is complete. Kindly note that SmsNative does not normally accept direct cash payments nor does it store your credit card information.
How much does an Sms Credit cost?
Depending on the Sms Bundle you buy,a standard Sms of 160 characters can cost about 25 Credits which is an equivalent of $0.005 or Ugx. 20/= or Kes. 50 cts. downwards.The bigger the SMS bundle,the cheaper the Sms.Click Here to See rates. Please note that If you type a longer message than the standard 160 characters,your text will be broken down into several SMS messages and an extra credit be charged for each message sent. If you send SMS messages to more than one person you will be charged for each SMS sent to each recipient.
How Long Does Message Delivery take?
It usually takes a few seconds to deliver sms to the recipient's mobile number.However,due to periodic Network congestion delivery times may vary during peak periods.
How Many Messages can I send at a time?
You can send virtually thousands of messages at a time.However,we recommend sending messages in batches of 15,000 at a time to avoid long message ques within the SMS Center and slowing delivery times.
Can I schedule my texts to be sent at a future time e.g Meeting alert or Birthday?
Yes,all messages can be scheduled to be sent automatically at a future time and date.The schedule function at the bottom of each page enables you to set the Date and Time your message shall be sent.This function is ideal for personal or group reminders, meeting alerts and anniversary messages e.g. Birthdays,Mothers Day etc
Can I get an SmsNative account without a mobile number?
A mobile number is mandatory to obtain an SmsNative account.This ensures that all people sending texts are personally responsible for the texts they send.This also prevents use of the text platform that would otherwise violate the Terms and Conditions of the Site.
Which countries can I send Sms to?
SmsNative sends texts Worldwide to all available Mobile Carriers in all countries.Always ensure that your recipient numbers are typed in the appropriate international format i.e 256 772 112233
